About Me

Who am i?
Hi am Fiona
I started my dog training journey at the International Animal Behavior Training Centre (IABTC) in 2017 with my cocker spaniel, Lester. He excelled at life skills, dog training, and scent-based activities, and we discovered mantrailing in 2019 and were immediately hooked. Lester’s passion for mantrailing inspired me to pursue a career as a mantrailing instructor, and I became a Mantrailing Global Instructor in 2021. I am constantly striving to improve my knowledge and skills, and I have completed numerous hours of continuing professional development (CPD) with head instructors and international operational mantrailing instructors.
In addition to mantrailing, I am also a qualified scent work instructor. I have tried numerous scent work methods and I currently train my dogs to City and Guilds standards. I am passionate about all aspects of dog training, but I have a special love for scent work and mantrailing. I believe that these activities are not only fun and rewarding for dogs, but they also have the potential to change lives.
Here are some specific examples of my dog training experience and accomplishments:
- I have worked with a variety of dogs of all breeds and ages, from puppies to seniors.
- I have helped dogs to overcome their fears and anxieties and to develop their confidence and skills.
- I have taught people how to train their dogs to mantrail and do scent work.
- I am a member of the Mantrailing Global Instructor team, and I am committed to promoting and teaching the sport of mantrailing.
- I also Promote positive reinforcement/ force free dog training.
I am excited to continue my dog training journey and to help more dogs and their owners to experience the joy of mantrailing, scent work and dog parkour.
